Ceropegia furcata Werderm.

Diese rätselhafte Art wurde im Jahr 1939 beschrieben, sie ist offenbar nur anhand des Typusmaterials bekannt, das an einem nicht näher bekannten Ort in Tansania gesammelt wurde.

Die Art wächst windend, ihre langstieligen Blätter sind breit herzförmig, ca. 4 cm lang und ebenso breit.

Die Blüten sind ca. 2 cm lang.

Die Art kommt eventuell im Rondo-Forest im Lindi-Distrikt in der Lindi-Region im südöstlichen Tansania vor. [1][2]

This enigmatic species was described in the year 1939, it is obviously known only from the type material, which was collected from an otherwise unknown locality in Tanzania.

The species is a larger, twining liana, its long-petioled leaves are broadly heart-shaped, ca. 4 cm long and wide.

The flowers are ca. 2 cm long.

The species may occur in the Rondo Forest in the Lindi District in the Lindi Region in south eastern Tanzania. [1][2]
